Our Name
Chi Alpha is derived from the greek words "Christou apostoloi" which means "Christ’s ambassador." We get our name from 2 Corinthians 5:20 where Paul calls us ambassadors for Christ. We are Christ's ambassadors and carry His message of salvation to our friends.
Our Vision
We are seeking a move of God amongst college students that changes the world. We want God to do something so special at Iowa that the only explanation is that God Himself showed up in Iowa City.
Our Mission
We exist to help our friends Seek God, Be Shaped in Community, and Live Sent on Mission.
We believe that true life change happens when we seek after the tangible presence of God, go on a journey of formation with our friends, and live for something greater than ourselves!
