Noah + Avery Ruchti
Chi Alpha DirectorNoah has served as the Chi Alpha Iowa Director since planting in the fall of 2026. His journey with Christ began in the winter of 2019 when he came to a Chi Alpha Winter Conference and encountered Jesus for the first time. Since then, he has had a passion to see people far from Jesus come to know Him.
Noah interned with Chi Alpha at the University of Northern Iowa from 2021 until 2023. After interning, he served as the Youth & Mission Pastor at Sent Church for three years until planting Chi Alpha Iowa in 2026.
Noah and his wife, Avery, are both known for their deep love for people and their ability to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds.

Shekynah + Jordan Upmeyer
Associate PastorShekynah has served on staff with Chi Alpha Iowa since planting in the fall of 2026. Before Chi Alpha Iowa, she interned with Chi Alpha UNI from 2024-2025 and served on staff from 2025-2026.
Shekynah leads our women’s discipleship and also serves as our behind-the-scenes operator, helping our administration and communications run smoothly.
Shekynah and her husband, Jordan, are both servant-hearted leaders who are always there to lend a helping hand. They are known for their passion for excellence in all they do.
